Geraldine Harrison

Geraldine Harrison, 88, of Austin Drive, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, at the Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Central Baptist Church by Preacher Jeff Purdue. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mrs. Harrison was born July 26, 1926, in Davidson County to Wade Dewey Harrison and Ethel Hedrick Harrison. She was retired from Dixie Furniture and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; and two sisters. Surviving are son Austin Harrison of Lexington; brother Jimmy Harrison and wife Beverly of Lexington; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
