Geraldine Hedrick Shoaf

Mrs. Geraldine Hedrick Shoaf, 89, of NC Hwy 8, died Saturday, August 14 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, August 18 at Forest Hill Memorial Park, by the Rev. Brian Alexander.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Shoaf was born September 20, 1931 in Davidson County to Gould Wilburn Hedrick and Lucille McDaniel Hedrick.  She attended Center Hill Baptist Church and retired as a cafeteria worker with Davidson County Schools.  Her husband, Bobby Stevens Shoaf, and her brothers, Coy Lee Hedrick Sr, and Thomas Hoyle Hedrick, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Shoaf Hodge of Lexington; her son, Bobby Dean Shoaf (Cathy) of Lexington; her sister, Peggy Hedrick Owens of Lexington; her grandson, Jarrod Hodge (Maria) and her great-granddaughter, Rylee Hodge.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292.
