Geraldine Tomlin

Geraldine “Gerri” Tomlin, age 81, of Lexington passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at her home.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Dr. Vern Peterson officiating.

Mrs. Tomlin was born in Guilford County on October 6, 1939 to Austin Brown Carter and Mary “Bessie” Buie Lax. She was retired from Danny Nicholson Inc. and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winnie “Gus” Tomlin and grandson Dane Everhart.

Surviving are two sons; John “B” Everhart (Katherine),  Michael Everhart, one daughter, Susan Everhart all of Lexington; one brother, Billy Carter (Sherron), six sisters, Linda Fadeley, Gwen Phillips, Leesa Williams, Lorrie Carter, Myra Lax, Melissa Ellisor, five grandchildren; Zachary Moffitt, Brittany Moffitt, Geran Everhart, Tyler Everhart and Harrison Everhart.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Trinity United Methodist Church at 902 S. Main Street, Lexington, NC 27292.
