Gerry Graham

Gerlene (Gerry) Graham, age 88, of Winston Salem, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Davie Nursing and Rehab. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 22 at Faith Church, conducted by Pastors Michael Gates and Keith Brock. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service.

Gerry was born on June 18, 1933, in Davidson County to the late Paul Alexander Snyder and Ree Proctor Snyder. She graduated from Midway High School and was a homemaker. She was a faithful member of Faith Church and Ruth’s Bible Class. Her love for the Lord and her church family was strong and she took every opportunity available to enter the church doors. She was a prayer warrior and loved sending cards to encourage others.

In addition to her parents, Gerry was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Hoyt Graham, Jr., sisters Dorothy (Dot) Berrier, Virginia (Jenny) Newsome, brother Adrian Snyder, and special brothers-in-law Norman Berrier and Al Newsome.

Surviving are her two sons, Mike Graham (Faye) of Lexington and Keith (Linda) Graham of Winston Salem, two grandsons, Jeremy Graham (Courtney) and Joshua Graham (Katie) and granddaughter Michelle Moore (Michael). In addition, Gerry had three great grandchildren, a brother, Jack Snyder (Edna) a special niece, and special nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Faith Church or the organization of your choice.
