Gertrude Frances Everhart

Gertrude Frances Everhart, age 98 of Ridge Road, Lexington passed away Friday night June 30, 2017 at Lexington Health Care. Funeral service will be held 3:00 Pm Thursday July 6, 2017 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church with Rev. Craig Saltzer officiating. Burial will follow in Pilgrim Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday night and at other times at the home. Gertrude was born in Davidson County September 30, 1918 to Hannum Crawford Everhart and Corrina Leonard Everhart. She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church and a homemaker. She was known over Davidson County as the Pie Lady. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Wade Everhart and sisters, Donese and Hazel and brothers Hoyt and Samuel. Surviving are her daughters, Clara Faye Wood Clara and Peggy Joyce Rock both of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and 5 step-great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Iris Collins and Kathleen Church both of Lexington.
