Gillie Kay Jackson

Gillie "Kay" Jackson, 84, of Lexington, NC, passed away on April 30, 2025, surrounded by family & friends. She was born September 12, 1940, in Lexington, NC, to Leonard and Martha Simpson. Kay was married to Ray Jackson for 56 years, until his death in 2015. She leaves behind her children and their spouses: Monica, Robert (Lonnette), Randy (Michelle), Jack(ie) (Beverly). Her Grandchildren: Michael, Jessica, Erik, Amanda, Shana, Andy, Maggie & Kayla. 8 Great Grandchildren. Kay retired from Duracell after 35 years of service. She enjoyed watching Westerns, watching nature & reading. Kay was a much loved member of Christian Baptist Church, in Linwood, NC. She was adored by everyone who came in contact with her. Visitation will be at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. Service to follow at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel. Pastor Sam Harvey officiating.
