Ginger McGath, a beloved member of the Lexington community, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 14th, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on Tuesday, January 2nd, 1951, Ginger was a resident of Burkhart Road, Lexington, NC, where she made countless memories and friends over the years.
Ginger will be fondly remembered for her warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering kindness. Her presence was a constant source of joy and strength for those who knew her. She dedicated her life to her family and community, always offering support and encouragement to those around her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell Law and Faye Robinson; and brother, Phillip Cartwright.
She is survived by her loving son, Jason McGath (Crystal) of Lexington, a daughter, Heather Gooda (Charles) of England; two sisters, Brenda Law (Becky) of Tacoma Washington and Glenda Cullen of Maryland; a brother, James Law (Debbie) of Texas; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren all who carry forward her legacy of compassion and love. Ginger was a cherished mother, and her nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
There will be no services at this time. Her life will be celebrated privately by her family and close friends, honoring her wishes and the simple elegance she portrayed throughout her life.
Ginger McGath’s gentle spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind, remaining for who had the pleasure of her company.
