Ginny Wyatt entered her eternal rest on Monday, June 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends who will cherish her memory forever.
Ginny was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Buddy Wyatt; son, Joseph Walters; her sister, Ramona Edwards; and her mother, Jo Scarbrough.
A gifted professional painter for most of her life, Ginny found great joy in art, crafts, gardening, and the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time in the mountains, relaxing at the beach, and visiting family. Wherever she went, she carried a warm heart and a deep appreciation for the beauty of Gods’s creation.
Nothing brought Ginny greater happiness than her family, especially her cherished grandchildren, Jonah Walters and Ezra Ashely. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with them, creating memories that will remain in their hearts for years to come.
Ginny is survived by her devoted life companion, Raymond Ward, whose love and companionship brought her great comfort and happiness. She is also survived by her brothers, Darryl Potts, Don Potts, Dennis Potts and Wesley Fox; and her sisters, Hope Scarbrough, Amanda Scarbrough, and Candy Scarbrough, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Ginny will be remembered for the love of family, her kind spirit, her artistic gifts, and her appreciation for life’s simple joys. Though her presence will be greatly missed, those who knew and loved her take comfort in the memories she leaves behind and the lasting impact she made on their lives.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, June, 15, 2026, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home of Lexington, North Carolina interment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered prayers, love, and support during this time of loss.
