Gladys Mae Fain Bowman

Gladys Mae Fain Bowman 78 of West 6th Ave passed away Tuesday at Hinkle Hospice House. A service of Remembrance will be at a later date. Ms. Bowman was born October 19, 1933 in Surry County to Everette and Minnie Puckett Fain. She previously worked as a seamstress with Sara Lee and also worked at General Steel. Surviving are sons, James Bowman of Lexington and Ronnie Bowman of Archdale; a daughter, Tammy Johnson of S. Carolina; two brothers, Ray Fain of Virginia and Howard Fain of Archdale; and a sister, Mary Lambeth of Virginia.
