Gladys Chow Davis, 86 of Charity Lane, formerly of East Holly Grove Rd. Lexington, died Tuesday December 28, 2010 at 10:36 AM in Lexington Memorial Hospital after a serious illness of two days.
A funeral service will be at 3:00 PM Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Arnold P. Gosnell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church prior to the service.
Mrs. Davis was born in Lihue Kauai, Hawaii on August 27, 1924 to Ah Yee Chow and Chong Sing Chow. She was the youngest girl of 14 children. She retired from Duracell Battery and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Jackie Farabee and husband Al of Kennewick, WA; Renae Dean and former husband Raymond of Linwood; grandchildren, Adrienne Farabee Skiffington and husband Mark of Kennewick, WA Ashlie Farabee of Seaside, OR; sister Dorothy Huddy of Kappa, Hawaii; brothers, Aki Chow of Pearl City Hawaii and Raymond Chow of Georgetown, TX. Adrienne and Mark are expecting Gladys’s first great grandchild.
