Glenda Ann Seaford Kilby

Glenda Ann Seaford Kilby, 81, of Lexington, passed away October 16, 2023, at her home in Lexington.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Hedrick’s Grove United Church of Christ, where she was a member with Pastor Josh Rau, and Rev. David Crook officiating. And burial will follow in the church family. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church sanctuary.

Glenda was born May 10, 1942, in Davidson County, to Early Glenn Seaford and Marie Hedrick Seaford. She was a devoted member of the church and church family, retired from Allen Pickett CPA with over 50 years of service. Glenda was an avid traveler, who loved to schedule and go on bus tours with all her friends.  Her passion was her faith, church, family, friends and especially her nephew, nieces and great-nephews. Glenda was a loving wife of 48 years, sister, and aunt, who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Kilby who died Feb. 16, 2023.

Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Martha Seaford Swing and husband H. Richard, brother, Ron Seaford and wife Nancy, both of Lexington; nephew, Wesley Seaford, nieces, Geelea Seaford Shipton and husband Michael, Sherry Van Zant and husband Mark, her great-nephews, Jackson, Mason, and Smith Seaford. Also, a special thanks to her caregivers, Joyce Parsons, Jennifer Martin and Sherry Van Zant.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hedrick’s Grove United Church of Christ, 3840 Allred Road, Lexington NC 27292
