Glenda Lynn Roberts

Glenda Roberts, age 65, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Vernon Forest Baptist Church with Pastors Jim Brown and Phillip Youngblood officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, Wednesday prior to the service.

Burial will take place 11:00 am Thursday, October 31, at Hillcrest Gardens, 1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mount Holly, NC 28120.

Glenda was born on January 28, 1959, in Iredell County to William Glenn Teague and Nancy Bumgarner Teague. Glenda was a faithful wife and loving mother who adored her grandchildren. Her favorite hobbies included gardening, baking, and attending her grandchildren’s ball games. She had a servant’s heart and always put others above herself. She was a beautiful example of strength, leaning on her faith in JESUS CHRIST through every storm. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Suttles, her Mother, and her two brothers, Tony and Ronnie Teague.

Surviving are her husband Bruce Roberts, two sons, Cory Suttles (Melanie), Colton Suttles, step daughters, Lisa Lawson (Jeff), Amy Stevens (Jason), brother Ricky Teague (Nancy), sister in-law, Sandra Williams, and 2 grandchildren, Micah and Isaac.
