Glendora Hendley Owens

Glendora Hendley Owens, 75, of Lexington, Passed away July 29, 2023, at Lexington Health Care in Lexington.

A celebration of her life will be at a later date.

Mrs. Owens was born June 27, 1948, in Stanley County to John Frank Hendley Jr. and Margie Hildreth Hendley. Glendora attended Mountain View Baptist Church, was retired waitress having worked at Jimmy Harvey’s BBQ, she loved to go to the beach and spending time with family and friends. Her passion was her family, especially her grandchildren. Glendora was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, who will be missed by all.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Mark Owens of Lexington; grandchildren, Luke and Logan Owens of Lexington; brother, John Frank Hendley III and her sister, Diana Everhart both of Lexington.
