Glenn Conrad Fritts, age 85 of Arnold Road, Lexington passed away at his home Sunday morning, December 4, 2016. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, where he was a member with Revs. Barry Queen, Steve Joyce and Duncan Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, prior to the service. Glenn was born in Davidson County January 3, 1931 to David Thomas “D.T.” Fritts and Edith Conrad Fritts. He was a retired salesman with Hoover and Kimbrell Furniture; a graduate of Welcome High School and a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom Fritts and brother-in-law, Robert Thomason. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Rebecca Leatherman Fritts of the home; daughter, Suzanne Fritts Stevens of Lexington; Sons, Conrad Fritts (Rhonda) and Allen Fritts (Lynn) of Lexington; grandchildren, Paul Stevens, Sara Nussman (Samuel), Hannah Hooker (David), Lara Stevens, Rachael Fritts, Maggie Fritts and Emma Fritts; great-grandchildren, Eleanore Glyn Nussman and Samuel Lewis Nussman; sisters, Mary Ann Fritts and Edith “Shorty” Thomason both of Lexington; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Johnnie Lou Fritts of Lexington.
