Mr. Glenn Martin Pressley, 55, of Sycamore Drive, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, November 4, 2026, doing what he loved—riding his motorcycle.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2026, at Smith Grove Baptist Church, 3462 Sowers Road, Linwood, NC 27299, with Pastor Terry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 8, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.
He was born on September 6, 1971, in Davidson County, to the late Thomas Andrew Pressley, Sr. and the late Rosalee Mason Pressley.
Mr. Pressley drove a truck for many years and did team-driving with his wife, Donna, for 13 years. Together, they made a great team and became award-winning drivers. Glenn loved God, his family, and a good hot sauce. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, cooking, fishing, and visiting the beach and mountains. Glenn also enjoyed a good NASCAR race, football, or baseball game. More than anything, Glenn cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and his friends. Glenn never met a stranger and was an all-around genuine person. He suffered from Huntington’s diseases and then followed an accident at work two years ago. The Lord took him home and he is no longer in pain. Glenn will be remembered as a loving husband, father, paw-paw, brother, and friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three nephews, Andy Pressley, Dustin Myers, and Joshua Willits.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Donna Price Pressley, of the home; two daughters, Kristy Bailey (Brandon) and Brittany Miller (Isaac); five grandchildren, Kimberlee Bailey, Pyper Bailey, Laken Miller, Claire Miller, and Valerie Miller; his siblings, Thomas Pressley, Jr. (Darlene), Sandra Myers (Ricky), and Susan Pressley Carter; two nieces, Tonya Martin and Crystal Hicks; a nephew, John Willits; and many other relatives and special friends.
