Glenna Sue Burkhart Thorpe

Glenna Sue Burkhart Thorpe, age 69 of Carl B. Road, Lexington passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.

A graveside servce will be held Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Becks Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery with Vicar J. Robert Crawford, IV officiating. There will be no public visitation.

Glenna was born in Davidson County on June 3, 1949. She was a former employee of Stanley Furniture, worked in Produce Department at WalMart and was a member of Becks Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her husband, Chris Thorpe of the home; mother and father, Carl and Gay Johnson Burhart of Lexington; daughter, Wendy Smith (Aaron) of Lexington; brother, Jerry (Bo) Hufton (Regina) of Winston Salem; grandson, Dravon Hufton; step-daughter, Kristina Strock (Donovan) of Kalamazoo, Michigan; step-son, Corey Thorpe of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
