It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gloria Stanley Fulk, who peacefully departed this world on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the age of 79. Gloria was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, friend, and pillar of strength to all who knew her.
Born on Thursday, January 3, 1946, in Davidson County to James Monroe Stanley and Betty Westbrook Stanley. Gloria brought light and laughter into the world from a young age. Her warmth, kindness, and generosity could be felt by everyone who crossed her path. Gloria was a beacon of love and compassion, always putting the needs of others before her own.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Otis Monroe Fulk, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage, partnership, and family life, son Tony Scott Fulk, brother James Stanley, sister Sharon Granger.
Gloria leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her four children: sons; Christopher Fulk, (Joyce); Odis Fulk Jr., daughters; Teresa Roberts, Angela Rife, daughter in-law, Misty Fulk, sister Kathy Grubb; 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a part of her spirit in their hearts and lives. Her resilience, wisdom, and compassion live on through them and through the many lives she touched.
To honor and celebrate Gloria, a service will be held at 4pm on Monday, March 3, 2025, in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Visitation will be held at the home after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gloria's memory to her favorite charitable organization, a testament to her lifelong commitment to helping those in need.
Gloria Stanley Fulk will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her life was a testament to the power of love, family, kindness and values that she instilled in everyone she knew. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
