Gloria Ann Bean Milam, 57, of Devonshire Drive, Lexington, died Friday at her home after an extended illness.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at First Alliance Church, with Rev. Paul Titus, and Mr. Fred McClure officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
She was born December 18, 1949 in Davidson County to Walter Bean and Arlene Burton Bean. She was a graduate of Thomasville High School and retired from Binnings after 25 years of service. She was a devoted member of First Alliance Church and her Church family was a vital part of her life. She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her sons: Michael Milam and Mark Milam, and his wife, Brandi, both of Welcome; one special granddaughter: Kayla Ann Milam; her Mother: Arlene Bean; her brothers: Jake Bean and his wife, Donnie of High Point; Walter Bean, and wife, Mary of Thomasville; Ricky Bean and wife, Pam, of Archdale; Danny Bean and Jimmy Bean, both of Thomasville; her sisters: Susie Stewart, and Tammy Deweese and husband, Keith, both of Thomasville; her special in-laws: Bert and Janie Milam; and her special friends: Bubba and Mary Monson, Mike and Carol Latham, and Jamie and Dan Thomas.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and other times at the home.
