Gordon Gerald Copeland

Gordon Gerald (Jerry) Copeland, age 85, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center.

A funeral service is planned for Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 3:00pm at Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel with Pastor Michael Gates officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 pm. The burial is private.

Jerry was born in Suffolk County, Virginia, in 1933 to Gordon Lee Copeland and Novella Boyd Copeland. He was a pastor of the Christian Missionary Alliance, and was member at Faith Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Martha Alspaugh Copeland; and his brother, Paul Copeland.

Surviving are his son, Gordon Timothy Copeland and wife Brenda Kay of Lewisville; daughter, Carole Lee Copeland of Dallas, TX; Three Grand-children, Travis James, Copeland and wife Brianna Laine of Wake Forest, NC, Jamie Kay Copeland, and Peyton Timothy Copeland of Winston-Salem.
