Gordon Darrell Sears Jr., 63, of Lexington went to his Heavenly home on July 27th, 2021.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
He was born on June 21st, 1958, in Davidson County NC. Gordon was a loving husband, stepfather, brother, nephew, uncle and son. He was a proud graduate of East Rowan Senior High School. Gordon also loved working at Dan Nicholas Park, where he was a caretaker for many years and enjoyed working with the animals in the nature center. He loved country music and dancing with his wife, Lisa. Gordon was friendly and never met a stranger. He will be missed by his family, his church family and everyone that called him friend. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Sears; grandparents, Lee Roy and Etta Poole; his aunt, Vergie Cox; his sister, Patricia Diane Craft; and his nephew, Charles (Little Charlie) Thomas Bulla Jr.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Sears of the home; his three stepsons, Travis, Jesse and Jason; sisters, Cindy Sears (Michael Davidson) of Branson MO, Renee Starnes (Bobby) of Salisbury; a niece, Carrie Starnes Brinegar; nephews, Henry Starnes, Audras Karalis, Cheslovas Karalis, Algis Karalis, and Daniel Craft; great nephews, Triston and Owen; and his aunts and uncles, Martha and Doug Westbrook, Junior and Sarah Poole, and James Cox.
