Grace Edith Wrenn Owens

Grace Edith Wrenn Owens, age 88, of Tyler Lane, Lexington passed away Tuesday night, June 26, 2012 at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Stoners Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Billy Pearson officiating.  Burial will follow at Stoners Grove Baptist Cemetery.   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday night and at other times at the home of Hammett Owens, 2064 Feezor Road, Lexington.   Grace was born in Davidson County, July 21, 1923 to Carl Franklin Wrenn and Bessie Owens Wrenn.  She was a retired employee of Dixie Furniture Company; member of Stoners Grove Baptist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Linda Kay Owens; great-grandson, Jacob Owle and a sister Arlene Holbrook.   Surviving are her husband, David Arnold Owens of the home; daughter, Jean Kennedy of Southmont; son, David C. Owens of the home; grandchildren, Tammy Kennedy, John Owens and Shannon Owens; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Owens and Alec Seagle; sisters, Elsie Jenkins and Connie Hamby both of Lexington.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
