Grace Sink Fritts,95 of Norman Shoaf Road went home peacefully to be with her Lord and savior Monday, July 16, 2012.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Friday, July 20, 2012 at Faith Missionary Alliance Church with Rev. Michael Gates and Rev. Albert Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will begin to receiving friends at 1:30 pm prior to the service and other times the family will be at the home of Barbara and Norman Wilkes.
Grace was born September 18, 1916 in Davidson County to Thomas A, Sink and Lula Livengood Sink. She was a charter member of Faith Missionary Alliance Church and served faithfully in Sunday school and the Choir as long as health permitted. She loved her job as a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and left lots of great memories. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Sam W. Fritts, sisters; Elizabeth, Ruby, Frances, brothers; Coy, Fonzo, Lake and a grand daughter; Pam Redden Clark.
Surviving are her daughters; Barbara Wilkes and husband Norman of Midway and Donna Redden and husband Richard of Charleston, SC, brother; J. D. Sink of Winston Salem, grandchildren; Kim Wilkes and wife Penni of Clemmons, Mike Wilkes and wife Kim of Winston Salem, Jane Redden, Rick Redden and wife Angela all of Charleston, SC, great grandchildren; Jason, Tiffany, Jacob, Courtney, Zachary, Janee, Nickolas, Gracee, Forrest and Merritt, great great grandchildren; McKenzie, (twins) Sam and Olivia. A sister inlaw Beulah Allen of Lexington.
The family would like to thank her special caretakers, Debbie Kearns, Sue Thompson, Geneva Cody and great neighbors Angie and Brian Beane.
