Grace Christine Roberts

G race Christine Call Roberts, age 74, of O’Farrell Street passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at her home.

A 2:00 PM celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Vernon Forest Baptist Church. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service for visitation, at the church.

Grace was born in Wilson County, NC on October 10, 1945 to Randall Garrett Call and Victoria Ethel Tedder Shepherd.

She was a teacher of fine-arts for twenty-six years at Faith Christian School in Hendersonville, NC. Grace was also a choir director for twenty-six years, and loved to play the piano. Mrs. Roberts was a member of Vernon Forest Baptist Church.

She was preceeded in death by her parents and a brother, Shane Call.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce Gray Roberts; her four daughters, Jennifer Currie; Allison Currie; Lisa Lawson (Jeff); and Amy Stevens (Jason); six grandchildren; and a sister Ava Barnes of Blounts Creek, NC.
