Grady Eli Hartman

Grady Eli Hartman, 73 of Hoover Road, Lexington, died Thursday evening in Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem after a three illness. Mr. Hartman was born January 26, 1933 in Davidson County to Roy Johnson Hartman and Mary Cecil Hartman. He was retired from AT&T after 38 years of service. His wife, Rebecca Koontz Hartman preceded him in death July 28, 1990. Surviving a son David Gregory Hartman and his wife Rooma of Dublin, Ohio. Grandchildren Ainsley Rebecca Hartman and Jed Alexander Hartman and a sister Carolyn Clodfelter of Lexington. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Center United Methodist Church where he was a member. The service will be conducted by Rev. Clay Morgan; burial will follow in the Center United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and other times at the home.
