Grady Eli Hartman, 73 of Hoover Road, Lexington, died Thursday evening in Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem after a three illness.
Mr. Hartman was born January 26, 1933 in Davidson County to Roy Johnson Hartman and Mary Cecil Hartman. He was retired from AT&T after 38 years of service. His wife, Rebecca Koontz Hartman preceded him in death July 28, 1990.
Surviving a son David Gregory Martin and his wife Rooma of Doblin, Ohio. Grandchildren AnsleyRebecca Hartman and Jed Alexander Hartman and a sister Carolyn Clodfelter of Lexington.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Center United Methodist Church where he was a member. The service will be conducted by Rev. Clay Morgan; burial will follow in the Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.
