Grady Webster "Pete" Walser

Grady Webster “Pete” Walser, age 99 of Michael Road, Lexington passed away Monday night May 30, 2016 at Brookdale of Lexington. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday June 2, 2016 at Shiloh United Methodist Church, where he was a member with Rev. David Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Narthex of the church from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, prior to the service. Pete was born in Davidson County, October 25, 1916 to Webster and Jennie Shoaf Walser. He was a retired employee of NC Finishing Company. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Pearl Barnes Walser in 2007. Surviving are his daughter, Ruby Owens of Lexington; son, Lonnie Walser of Lexington; grandchildren, Amy Walser (Dylan Standish) and Kendra Lyn Parrish (Joseph); great-grandchildren; Adam Lee Hill, Jacob Taylor Hill and Zadie Standish; half sister, Hazel Waselesky of Lexington; half brother, Henry Leonard (Wilma) of Lexington.
