Grady Webster “Pete” Walser, age 99 of Michael Road, Lexington passed away Monday night May 30, 2016 at Brookdale of Lexington.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday June 2, 2016 at Shiloh United Methodist Church, where he was a member with Rev. David Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Narthex of the church from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, prior to the service.
Pete was born in Davidson County, October 25, 1916 to Webster and Jennie Shoaf Walser. He was a retired employee of NC Finishing Company. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Pearl Barnes Walser in 2007.
Surviving are his daughter, Ruby Owens of Lexington; son, Lonnie Walser of Lexington; grandchildren, Amy Walser (Dylan Standish) and Kendra Lyn Parrish (Joseph); great-grandchildren; Adam Lee Hill, Jacob Taylor Hill and Zadie Standish; half sister, Hazel Waselesky of Lexington; half brother, Henry Leonard (Wilma) of Lexington.
