Graham Dwight Hall

Graham Dwight Hall, 83, of S. State Street, died Friday, July 18, 2014, at Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at First Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Tommy Wilson officiating. Graham was born August 24, 1930, in Catawba County, to Thomas Jackson Hall and Nettie Lee Hahn Hall. He was a retired engineer from the Federal Aviation Administration. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Earl Burch Hall, who died April 29, 2013; son, Ralph Hall; and sister, Nina Jean Tont. Surviving are sons, Dwight Hall and wife Ruth Ellen of Maryland and Roger Alan Hall of Lexington; three grandchildren, Christopher Hall, Cherise Hall, and Kristi Hall; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Lou Bruton and husband John of Roanoke Va.
