Gregory Scott Coppley

Gregory Scott Coppley, 48 of Rachael Lane, Lexington, died Saturday at his home after an extended illness. A funeral service will be held 3:30 pm Wednesday at Jersey Baptist Church where he was a member with Rev. Matt Riggsby officiating services. Burial will follow in the Snider family cemetery in Churchland The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 3:00pm Wednesday at the church and at other times at the home on Rachael Lane. Mr. Coppley was born May 8, 1967 in Davidson County to Louie Coppley Sr. and Gwen Snider Lanning. He was preceded in death by a brother June Coppley and twin sisters, Sherri Coppley and Terri Coppley. Surviving is his mother, of the home; his father and step mother Teresa Coppley; one brother, Todd Coppley, of the home; two step brothers, Adam Miller of Welcome, and Tony Miller of Charlotte; two nephews, Ethan Hedrick and Colton Coppley; one niece, Ashley Coppley and one great nephew, Tristan Avery.
