Guy Raeford Hege

Guy Raeford Hege, 81, of Millis Road, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Hospice Home at High Point. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Guy was born November 15, 1932, in Davidson County, to Joe Harvey Hege Sr. and Josephine Hilliard Hege. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Proctor and Schwartz. He was a member of the Lexington Moose Lodge. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald Hege and Joe Harvey Hege Jr.; and sister, Faye Hege Howell Stone. Surviving are his loving wife, Bobbie Crouse Hege; son, Patrick Lee Hege and wife Carol of Church Road, VA.; daughter, Jan Hege Galloni and husband Carl of Jamestown; grandchildren, Carmen Lee Galloni and Nikki Galloni Kepley and husband Matt; brothers, Donald Hege Sr. and wife Phyllis and Jack Hege all of Lexington.
