Guy Ted Miller

Guy Ted Miller, 74, of Clemmons, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Services will be held privately with a Celebration of Life to be announced in the spring.

Guy was born on August 31, 1950 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Guy Solomon Miller an Margaret Aileen Atkins Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Dzeskewicz.

Guy spent his career as a senior systems analyst and retired from Novant Health after 16 years. He was a faithful and long-time member of Friedberg Moravian Church, where he enjoyed teaching a Bible study class for many years. He was always very thorough when preparing for his lessons. In his free time, he enjoyed shooting and hunting, especially turkeys and pheasants. He was a proud lifetime member of the NRA. He also loved spending time outside on his Kubota tractor and enjoyed farming.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 50 years, Deborah Shelton Miller; daughter, Karen (Butch) Miller Thompson; brother, Richard (Beverly) Edgar Miller, and his beloved feline companions, Tootsie Roll, Danielito, Tinker Toy, and Tinker Tiger.
