H. Lee Austin, Jr.

 H. Lee Austin Jr., 59 of Tyro, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at his home.  A private service will be held. The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Anita Workman on Indian Wells Circle on Saturday after 12:00 pm.  Lee was born July 28, 1958, in Alamance County, to Harold Lee Austin Sr. and Anita Brothers Workman.  His father and brother, Stan Austin preceded him in death. He was an avid Panther and Tampa Bay fan.  Surviving is his mother, of Lexington; his daughter, Jennifer James (Steven); and three grandchildren, Tyler Biggerstaff, Brian Biggerstaff and Parker James.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
