H. Dennis Miller

Howard Dennis Miller, age 88 of Ridge Road, Lexington passed away Saturday evening at his home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug McGee officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Dennis was born in Davidson County October 28, 1929 to Howard Julian Miller and Mertis Lee Everhart Miller. He was a self-employed Farrier and did care for horses all over central North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martha Miller in 2008 and his daughter, Libby Snider in 2009; a grandson, Mark Snider and brothers, Reese, Jimmy and Frankie Miller. Surviving are a special friend, Robert Byerly, Jr. and wife Rachel of Lexington; sisters, Ruth and Martha and a young boy he raised and considered him a son, Jerry James.
