H. Wayne Leonard

Harold Wayne Leonard, 76, of West Center Street Extension, died Saturday November 25, 2017 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.   A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday November 29, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with by the Rev. Aaron Long.  Burial will follow at Paul’s Chapel Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home.   Mr. Leonard was born September 2, 1941 in Davidson County to Harold Franklin Leonard and Geneva Hunt Leonard. Mr. Leonard was a member of Paul’s Chapel Evangelical and Reformed Church and was preceded in death by his parents.   Surviving is his wife, Gail Leonard of the home; two sons, Jeff Leonard (Tammy), and Scott Leonard, both of Lexington; two sisters, Gail Hutchins (Joe) of Lexington and Sylvia Foster (Roger) of Reeds; 3 grandchildren, Staci Bacon (Tanner), Lauren Hurd (Michael), and Amber Leonard (Grayson); and three great-grandchildren, Paisley Bacon, Hadley Harris and Konnor Hurd.   Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
