Harlan Lyons Sizemore

Harlan Lyons Sizemore, 82, of Winston-Salem passed away at his home on Sunday, December 30, 2018.

A funeral service is planned for Thursday, January 3, 2019, at 3:30pm at Oak Forest United Methodist Church with the Rev. Julie Wilburn Peeler officiating. Visitation for the family will be Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 6:00 pm -8:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel.

Harlan was born September 1, 1936 in Rogersville, Tennessee to William and Elsie Thomas Sizemore.

Mr. Sizemore was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bluford Sizemore; and sister, Mildred Sizemore.

He is survived by his loving wife, Estelle Sizemore; son, Eric Sizemore (Alison) of Greensboro; daughter, Robin Tilley (Hoss) of Linwood; brother, Paul Sizemore of California; sisters, Charlsie Boragine (Bob); Wilma Parrott (Claude) and Nancy Wood of TN; four grandchildren, Michelle Mason (Jason Gainer); Will Sizemore; Owen Sizemore and Cole Sizemore; and one great-grandchild, Anderson Gainer.

Harlan was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing as much as he could after retirement.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Forest UMC-General Fund.
