Harold Allred

: Harold Dean Allred 74 of Burkhart Road, Lexington died Thursday morning September 20, 2007 at High Point Regional Hospital. The funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Grace Alliance Church, where he was a charter member, by the Revs. Thomas Hicks, Don Lyerly and Preacher Clyde Akers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Rites by Randolph Honor Guard. Mr. Allred was born March 18, 1933 in Davidson County to William Oscar Allred and Crissie Viola Burkhart Allred. He was retired from Central Lumber and honorably served his country in the US Army. At his church he was past president of The Young at Heart. His Parents and a brother Bobby Lee Allred preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Joann Morris Allred of the home; two sons, Randy Dean Allred and his wife, Mary, and William Keith Allred, all of Lexington; one brother, James “PeeWee” Allred and his wife, Billie Dean, of Lexington; one sister Rogene Pressley and her husband Donald of Tyro; a sister in law, Wanda Allred of Lexington; and two special grand dogs, Zenna and Bear. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to High Point Regional Health System Cancer Center, P. O.
