Harold Dean Bolen, Sr.

Harold Dean Bolen Sr. age 68, of Winston Salem passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at his home on Pin Oak Drive. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Rev. Leon Wishon officiating. Burial will follow in the Hebron United Church of Christ cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel and other times at the home. Harold was born on May 15, 1944 in Odd, WV to Elmer and Hazel Bolen. He was a member of Bible Fellowship Baptist Church in Pfafftown. He was a former employee of K&V Heating and Air. He is preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters. Surviving are his wife of 24 years Lana Hines Bolen of the home, two sons; Harold Dean Bolen Jr. (Tammy) of Walnut Cove, and Scotty Franklin Burrow (Sherry) of Winston Salem, one daughter; Linda Michelle Leonard (Grayson) of Winston Salem, three brothers; Jimmy Bolen (Linda) of Advance, Ray Bolen (Donna) of Lewisville, and Richard Bolen (Frances) of Walkertown, five sisters; Geraldine Smith of Walkertown, Deloris Keaton, and Judy Creech (Ronnie) both of East Bend, Noragean Merritt (Bill) of Conover, and Ruby Reynolds of Pfafftown, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and dear friend; Donald Hines.
