Harold Cone

Harold Cone age 69, of Gastonia passed away Monday evening at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital after a short illness. He was born Oct 26, 1940 in Hanover N.H., to John Paine Cone Sr. and Irma Frost Cone. He was a graduate of North Carolina State University, a veteran of the U.S. Army and in 1978 joined the law firm of Robinson & Wilson in Gastonia, N.C. He was a beloved brother, uncle and co-worker. His contributions to the family as well as the law firm, was vast, and unending, and he will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday February 12, in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. Harold is survived by three brothers; Dan Cone of Tyro, N.C., Chris Cone of Arcadia, N.C., and John P. Cone Jr. of Salem, Va. and two sisters; Sandy Oglesby of Williamsburg Va., and Gigi Welch of Dallas Texas. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.
