Harold Moorefield

Harold Moorefield age 84 of Winston Salem went home to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, July 21, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center.

A funeral service will be 2:15 PM Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Union Grove Baptist Church where he was a member conducted by Pastor T.W. Bailey, Dr. Harold Fletcher and Pastor Lomax Skinner. A private interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service and at other times at the home.

Mr. Moorefield was born March 27, 1937 in Iredell County to Robert Hunter Moorefield and Mary Ethel Tulbert Moorefield. He was a retired machinest with Lacy J. Miller. His parents  and a sister, Rachel Mabe all preceded him in death.

Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Joanne McDaniel Moorefield of the home. A son, Tim Moorefield (Monica) of Welcome. Daughters: Tammy Haynes (Steve) of Winston Salem and Terri Messer of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Three Grandchildren, Tiffany Clonch, T.J. Moorefield and Justin Moorefield. His brothers: John Moorefield (Mary) and Jerry Moorefield all of Statesville and Ralph Moorefield (Phyllis) of Harmony. Also surviving are a sister, Barbara Grave (Ralph) of Mocksville.
