Harold Wayne Odum

Harold Wayne Odum, age 59, of Southmont, passed away Wednesday evening in Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after 4 months of declining health. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Wayne’s life on Saturday April 27, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Davidson Funeral Home conducted by Preacher Clyde Akers. Visitation will be 1:30 to 2:30 Saturday before the service. Wayne, was born in Lumberton on August 2, 1953 to Harold Odum and Betty Williams Odum Hunley who preceded him in death. He was employed at Owens-Brockway Glass before his illness. He is survived by his wife Theresa Garrett Odum of the home; sons, Steven Odum (Lori) and Chris Odum both of Lexington; brothers Ernest Odum of Greensboro, and Barry Odum of Lexington; sisters, Gwen Oxendine of Lumberton and Donna Hertzog of Asheboro; grand-children, Cordelle, Trisha, and Christina Odum. He is also survived by numerous other brothers and sisters, and numerous best friends.
