Harrison "Leonard" Wishon

Harrison Leonard Wishon, 74, of Legion Club Road, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at his home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2016, at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with the Rev. Carl Sutton and Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and other times at the home. Mr. Wishon was born May 3, 1942, in Elkin to Harrison Edward Wishon and Ethel Carter Wishon. He had worked in the cabinet room at Lexington Furniture Industries. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Dawn Wishon; daughter, Tina Eubanks; and brothers, Junior Wishon and James Wishon. Surviving are daughters, Angie Byars of Lexington and Tabitha Byers and husband Charlie of Thomasville; three grandchildren, Brittany Wishon, Amber Ivey, and Brandon Ivey; two great-grandchildren, Elijah Mullins, and Lexi Kimbrell; and brothers, Arvil Lee Wilson of Lexington, Steve Wishon and Ralph Wishon and wife, Linda, all of Welcome.
