Harry "Tommy" Columbus Weaver

Mr. Harry Columbus “Tommy” Weaver, 70, of Old Mill Farm Road, died Sunday, September 11 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston Salem. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 14 from the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by Rev. David Wooten. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home Mr. Weaver was born July 28, 1941 in Davidson County to Henry and Lizzie James Weaver. He was the owner and operator of H & C Grinding and Machine Shop, a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren and attended Lakeview Baptist Church. His brothers, Homer Ray Weaver and H. C. Weaver, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Walser Weaver of the home; his sister, Ruby Goforth of Lexington; and his niece, Monica Cauble, and husband, Marc, and their children, Sarah, Anna Claire, and Noah, of Lexington. The family would like to express their appreciation to his brothers and sisters in law, and nieces and nephews for their love and support. Memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem NC 27103.
