Harvey Hodge Sr.

Mr. Harvey Winfield Hodge, Sr., of Ed Rickard Road, died Saturday, February 09 at his home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Pastors David Davis and Tim Edwards. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at the funeral home and other times at the home. Mr. Hodge was born July 31, 1935 in Mercer County WV, to Herbert McKinley Hodge and Jettie Cox Hodge. He was retired employee with ESTES Express Lines and a member of Light House Baptist Church of Hwy 8 Lexington. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Genievee Marie Jackson Hodge, four brothers and four sisters. Surviving are his sons, Terry Hodge and fiance Lisa Teague and Harvey Hodge Jr. and wife, Jerlene, all of Lexington; his daughter, Kathy Duke and husband, Rodney; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
