Hazel White Burkhart

Hazel White Burkhart, age 88 of Abbotts Creek, formerly of Park Circle, Lexington passed away Tuesday at Abbotts Creek.   Graveside service will held at 11:00 am Friday at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Dr. Rev. William Shrout officiating and burial will follow. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 9:30 until 10:30 Friday prior to the service.   Hazel was born in Davidson County, February 5, 1925 to George Lewis and Mary Elizabeth Byerly White. She was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ, former employee of Erlanger Mills and retired from Carolina Panel. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Blake Burkhart; brothers, James and Joe Reid White.   Hazel is survived by her sister, Helen Geraline Tussey of Lexington; numerous nieces and nephews; dear friend and room mate, Mary Manns.   The family would like to thank the staff of Abbotts Creek for all their loving care given to Hazel in her last years.
