Hazel Smith Little, age 87 of Christmas, FL and formerly of Lexington, passed away on July 4, 2021.
A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, July 9 th in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Pastor Noah Frye officiating. The family will see friends following the service.
Hazel was born on November 29, 1933 in Davidson County to George Raymos Little and Esther Mae Leonard Little. She retired from Mid-State Tile and attended Spruce Street Baptist Church and Coggins Memorial Baptist Church. She loved her church family and her Lord and Savior. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, George, Paul, and R.J. Smith; half-brother, Pat Robinson and sister, Helen Washburn. She enjoyed worked in her yard and planting flowers. Hazel was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be cherished forever in our hearts.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Chip Little (Allison) of Holly Spring, NC; daughters, Debbie Ferguson of Lexington, Teresa Perryman (fiancé Brad) of GA; brother, Steve Smith (Peggy) of Lexington; sisters, Frances Bates of Lexington, and Anne Stanley of FL, who she lived beside of for 20 years and they kept watch over each other; 3 grandchildren, Leslie and Clint Frye, Kenan Little; 2 great-grandchildren, Davis and Noah Frye and special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27295. The family will be at the home of the daughter Debbie Ferguson 111 Siouan Dr., Lexington, NC 27295
