H.B. Davis

Yates (H.B.) Davis, 76, of Holiday Drive, Lexington, died Monday in High Pont Regional Medical Center after a 6 week illness. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Robert Floyd. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Davis was born November 11, 1929 in Cleveland County to Herbert Blaine Davis and Vernier Byers Davis. Clyde was a retired truck driver for McClean with 29 years service, he was of the Baptist faith and was in the National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Sane Davis of the home; his son, Randy Mike Davis and wife, Ronda of Lexington; his daughters, Patricia Haas and husband, Carl Eugene of Welcome; Cindy Frank and Fiance, Jim Ledbetter of Tyro; Suzanne Nelson and husband, Steve of Reeds; his grandchildren, Scott Haas, Christy Haas, both of Welcome; Phillip Frank of Tyro; Wendy Grubb and husband, Rusty ; Mandi Cutlip and Fiance, Jeremy Clodfelter; and Alisha Davis all of Lexington; Allison Nelson, Hannah Nelson and Charlotte Nelson, all of Reeds; his grandchildren: Savannah Cutlip and Tyler Grubb, both of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Wednesday at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME and other times at the home.
