Heides Pearl Westbrook Jones

Heides Pearl Westbrook Jones, 77, of Davidson County, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at her home.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, with Pastor Darrell Cox officiating.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 - 10:00 AM, prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.

Heides was born on April 23, 1946, in Franklin, VA, to the late Joesph Hugh Westbrook and Elsie Marion Thomas Westbrook.

She was known as an exceptional mother and grandmother who loved her children fiercely. Heides was a strong and independent woman who was devoted to her family and will be remembered as one of the most genuine people to know.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Ray Jones Sr; son, Jimmy Cranford; three brothers, Daniel Westbrook, Merl Lawrence Westbrook, and Joseph Carol Westbrook; and two sisters, Stacey Eugenia Janes, and Rose Powell.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Dawn Timler, of the home; brother, Douglas Westbrook (Martha), of Denton; sisters, Myrtle Cartwalle, of Lexington, Wilma Michaels (David), of Tyro, Elizabeth Wright (Tom), of VA, and Margaret Murrow, of Lexington; grandchildren, Christopher Sean, Gregory Sean, Daniel Sean, Zamari Sean, Meyanna Sean, Nyzani Sean, Levian Sean, Aleena Sean, Zamaria Sean, Karisma Peoples, and Avian Sean; and a heap of godsons and daughters and grandchildren.

She will deeply be missed by all who loved her.
