It is with sadness that we share the passing of Helane Mary (Zemkoski) Zdaniewicz, 65, of Denton, North Carolina, on June 7, 2026. Following a courageous two-and-a-half-year journey with pancreatic cancer, Helane passed peacefully, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.Helane’s radiant smile could brighten any room and bring comfort and joy to all who knew and loved her. Throughout her years as a dental assistant, she shared her compassion generously, touching countless lives with her warmth, kindness, and care. In retirement, her greatest joy was found in the time she spent with her grandchildren, whom she loved beyond measure. She was the heart of her family and its most devoted encourager, proudly cheering on her children and grandchildren through every season of life.Helane is lovingly remembered by her husband, Joseph Zdaniewicz; her beloved children, Jessica (Zdaniewicz) Zayatz, (Joseph) Craig Zdaniewicz, Rachael (Zdaniewicz) Weaver, and Ryan Zdaniewicz; and her cherished grandchildren, Alexander Zayatz, Abigail Zayatz, Anna Weaver, and Daniel Weaver.A private family celebration of Helane’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly invites memorial donations in her honor to a charity of your choice.
