Helen Ann Boyer Cook Parks, 84, of Jr. Order Home Rd., Lexington formerly of Jefferson, NC passed away Saturday , September 2, 2017 surrounded by family at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.   A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel  with Pastor Terry Coats officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday Night.   Mrs. Parks was born on July 31, 1933 in Salem Va. To Eugene Raymond Boyer and Thelma Robertson Boyer. She was a former member of Spruce Street Missionary Baptist Church and retired with 20 years of service as a machine operator from Southern Devices/Leviton. Preceding her in death was her first husband Joseph H. Cook Jr., and second husband, Howard Wayne Parks, also preceding  is her sister, Ruth Kidd Boykin   Surviving are a daughter, JoAnn Cook Wilson (William) of Lexington NC; a granddaughter, Emily Ann Nichols and her fiancé Kary Blaylock , two grandsons, Christopher Gene Nichols and Joseph Michael Nichols, one great grandchild; Trinitty Ann Marie Corne, also surviving one sister, Pauline Boyer Parr of Richmond, VA
