Helen Link Beck

Helen Link Beck, 91, of West Eighth Avenue, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, at her home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Don Conrad. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Beck was born in Davidson County on Oct. 14, 1914, to John Wesley Link and Fallie Elizabeth Thompson Link. She was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church and a life member of the United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert T. Beck, on Nov. 4, 1995; and two brothers, Paul D. Link and Clyde N. Link. Surviving are her three sons, Thomas Wesley Beck and his wife, Elizabeth, Robert Harold Beck and his wife, Myra, and Doug F. Beck and his wife, Gayle, all of Lexington; one daughter, Nancy Beck Curry and her husband, Frank, of Lexington; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, James F. Link of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Thursday at the funeral home and other times at the home. Memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
