Helen Gwyn Bray

Helen Gwyn Bray, 76, of Asheboro, passed away Tuesday November 5, 2024, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, November 9, 2024, in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington, with Rev. David Robinson officiating services. Burial will follow at Near Calvary Freewill Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Mrs. Bray was born July 4, 1948, in Davidson County to Robert Early Gwyn and Cora Hollingsworth Bray Gwyn. Helen had many interests such as, baking, dancing, collecting frogs and angels, she had a huge heart and loved helping others. She was a firecracker and loved celebrating her birthday. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Condy Lee Bray; her parents; two sons, Ben Bray and Gary Bray; two daughters, Debbie Bray, and Melinie Hobbs Bray; and a grandson, Gregory.

Surviving are five daughters; Angela King (Thomas), Mary Beck, Connie Bray, all of Florida, and Rachel Pellerin (Glenn) and Melissa Vetro-Bray of Tennessee; and grandchildren; Bridget, Melanie, Sierra, Christa, Bonnie, Madison, Megan, Trenton, Thomas, Charlie, Joey, Shiann, Joshua, Stephinie, Shawn, Ravenna, and Christopher; and several great-grandchildren.
