Helen Shaw Kivett

Helen Shaw Kivett, age 85 of East Center Street Ext. Lexington passed away Saturday morning (5-16-2009) at Wake forest University Baptist Medical Center.  A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday (May 18, 2009) at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Frankie Matthews officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Hill.   Helen was born in Davidson County, September 20, 1923 to Willie Edgar Shaw and Tessie Shandwick Shaw.  She was a retired employee of Lexington Telephone Company.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Bill Kivett.   Surviving are; one sister, Mildred S. Fraylick of Columbia, SC; two nieces, Teresa Fraylick of Columbia, SC and Roberta F.
